Significant Interest in Vocational Training

The Charguia Exhibition Center will open its doors from September 23 to 26 to welcome approximately 30,000 visitors expected by the Tunisian Agency for Vocational Training (ATFP). The agency will host the 3rd edition of the International Vocational Training Fair, aiming to be a global platform in this field due to its rich content and relevant themes.

The fair, spanning 3300 square meters, will bring together participants from the Maghreb and Europe (France and Great Britain), as well as guests from Saudi Arabia and African countries.

This major international event will also include key players in the field, namely the Ministry of Vocational Training and Employment, the Ministries of Health and National Defense, the Tunisian National Tourist Office (ONTT), the professional association of private vocational training institutions, the Association of Graduates from Vocational Training Centers, the Mediterranean Institute of Maritime Professions, the Tunisian Solidarity Bank (BTS), and the Bank for Financing Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (BFPME)...

"The fair targets young people and businesses to inform them about vocational training specialties and the job market opportunities they offer graduates," said Mr. Abdallah Ben Abdallah, director of the ATFP, on Wednesday, September 15 in Tunis, during a press conference, according to the TAP agency.

He specified that this event coincides with the start of the new training year, marked this year by the creation of three new higher technician specialties: construction and public works safety, building electricity, and maintenance and after-sales service of construction equipment, as well as a specialty in warehousing of construction and public works equipment and materials.

It should be noted that 3684 new registrations for higher technician training were recorded during the September 2010 session in the various vocational training and apprenticeship centers, which have a capacity of 45,560 trainees.
