Language and Computer Training to Boost Employment

Training in languages and computer skills to help young graduates find jobs abroad is receiving a significant boost, thanks to the national certification training program.

The Ministry of Professional Training and Employment has begun implementing the national certification training program, ordered by the Head of State, targeting higher education graduates in all specialties.
Computer training began on October 15th in educational and training institutions under the Ministries of Communication Technologies, Education, Higher Education and Scientific Research, and in professional training centers. It targets higher education graduates in scientific fields.

Improving Youth Employability

By November 9th, the number of people enrolled in this program across various governorates exceeded 11,000 young people, including 6,200 in English, 2,060 in French, 400 in other languages, and 2,600 in computer science.
This program targets 20,000 higher education graduates, with 15,000 receiving language training (English, French, Italian, etc.) and 5,000 receiving training in ICT. Accredited professors and experts from recognized specialized structures provide this training, culminating in an internationally recognized diploma. This will help improve the recognition of Tunisian skills and Tunisia's ability to attract foreign investment.
The program aims to improve youth employability to benefit from employment opportunities nationally and internationally, as part of the national plan for employment abroad.
Mastery of languages, particularly French and English, along with an academic degree and professional experience, are the most important requirements of large companies in Tunisia, high-employability call centers, and are fundamental for accessing promising international job markets.

Employment and Self-Employment

In this context, the Ministry of Professional Training and Employment provides necessary additional language training for young people seeking employment abroad.
Furthermore, to encourage job seekers registered with employment and self-employment offices to participate in the national language and computer training program, the ministry has taken the initiative to promote the program's features via SMS to 61,000 higher education graduates, encouraging them to participate.
Meanwhile, employment structures in all governorates continue to register young people wishing to enroll in this training program.
