IB Morocco maintains its innovation strategy and continues to offer its clients the most suitable solutions for optimizing and improving the performance of information systems. This is demonstrated by the partnership it has just concluded with Riverbed, making it the first ICT operator in Morocco to offer this highly advanced technology.
Riverbed is the American leader in Wide-area Data Services (WDS) and application acceleration technology. Thanks to the "Steelhead appliance" solution offered by Riverbed, IT departments can meet the expectations of the most demanding users while continuing to achieve their strategic objectives. This application is intended for any company with a network or subsidiaries, therefore having a central site and remote sites.
Riverbed's solution offers the following main advantages:
-Acceleration of all TCP applications on the wide area network by a factor of 5 to 50, or even 100
-Consolidation of IT infrastructure
-Reduced bandwidth usage
-Acceleration and simplification of backup and replication
IB Morocco will support its clients in evaluating this solution, particularly by organizing seminars to present the "Steelhead appliance" solution in detail.
The objective is to provide its clients with a tool that makes it possible to offer LAN-type performance, while consolidating servers and storage that were distributed and reducing remote backup infrastructure and bandwidth costs. This commercial partnership will thus allow IB Morocco's engineers to integrate the Riverbed solution for its clients, ensuring installation and maintenance.
