"The Anapec in Tetouan plans to place 1,400 job seekers during the year 2012."
The National Agency for the Promotion of Employment and Skills (Anapec) in Tetouan plans to place 1,400 job seekers during the year 2012 thanks to the Idmaj program, compared to 1,000 the previous year.
The placement of this number of job seekers, particularly in the sectors of offshoring and call centers, will be achieved thanks to the ongoing project, Tetouan Offshore, a new industrial platform whose work was launched in June 2010 in Martil by H.M. King Mohammed VI.
Carried out in three phases over the period 2010-2019, Tetouan Offshore, which required an investment of nearly one billion DH, will cover 20 hectares and will generate some 10,000 jobs.
This offshoring platform will mainly target specialists in customer management, administrative processes (BPO), and IT development and maintenance.
The creation of such a project will raise the Tetouan region to the level of the most important economic centers in the Kingdom, which will inevitably have beneficial effects on the job market in the region.
