Sidi Bouzid Dairy Plant to Create 337 Jobs

The "Delice" dairy plant, under construction in Sidi Bouzid for six months, will be operational in January 2014.
Its cost is about 50 million dinars, and it will create 337 jobs, including 77 technicians and 71 senior managers.
This was announced at a press conference held Thursday, May 17, 2012, at the Sidi Bouzid Higher Institute of Technological Studies, by Nejib Mansouri, governor of the region, and Boubakar Mehri, CEO of the Delice group.
The dairy plant will have a capacity of 150 million liters per year and will produce semi-skimmed milk and butter.
In 2011, the Sidi Bouzid governorate produced about 115 million liters of milk, 100 million liters of which were collected the same year.
In 2010, it ranked first nationally in milk production and currently has 19 collection centers.
