Nizar Baraka announced on Thursday that the finance bill, which the government plans to adopt at the next government council, aims to create 26,204 jobs and allocate 13.2 billion dirhams for the implementation of commitments made under the social dialogue.

Speaking at a press conference following the government council, Mr. Mostapha El Khalfi, Minister of Communication and government spokesperson, indicated that Mr. Baraka stated that the project aims to achieve a growth rate of 4.2% and reduce the budget deficit from 6.1% to 5% of GDP.

The finance bill also provides for the mobilization of two billion dirhams to finance social programs related to medical assistance, the fight against school dropout, and support for services provided to people with disabilities, in addition to allocating 2.6 billion dirhams for the rural development.

This project, he specified, is based on three fundamental orientations: Firstly, strengthening the rule of law and principles of good governance; secondly, consolidating the foundations of strong and sustainable economic growth supported by increased public investment and continued investment in infrastructure, as well as restoring macroeconomic balances.

Thirdly, he cited the imperative of ensuring equitable access to basic services and upholding the principles of solidarity and equal opportunities. (MAP)
