Survey: Companies Eager for Recent Graduates

After 5 years of study, recent graduates enter the job market seeking career opportunities and challenges. The first year after graduation is always memorable for these young professionals.

To understand how these recent graduates are entering the workforce, we conducted a study that revealed the following major trends:
  • Companies are eager to hire graduates from higher education (Bachelor's degree and above). A recent graduate meets no less than 5 companies during their job search. The demand is therefore high
  • Recent graduates take less than 6 months to find their first job, even if it doesn't necessarily match their dream job.
  • Recent graduates are mainly motivated by salary and career progression opportunities.
  • Unsolicited applications and job boards are the most preferred job search methods among recent graduates
  • The IT sector is the one that employs the most recent graduates today
