Monthly vocational training allowance increases from 25 to 60 dinars.

The monthly vocational training allowance has been increased to 60 dinars, up from 25 dinars, the Ministry of Vocational Training and Employment announces.

This allowance is granted to young people from disadvantaged families whose parents' annual gross income does not exceed 10,000 dinars. It also only benefits trainees in priority areas. These include agriculture and some building trades, textiles and clothing, leather and footwear, tourism, and small crafts (wood, plant fibers, hand weaving, embroidery, metalworking, pottery, glassblowing...).

Telecommunications training programs have been removed from the category of priority areas.
