AMO Starts: Everything You Need to Know

Sick leave forms can be submitted starting March 1st; reimbursement within three months maximum. 5.4 million people are covered by the system, or 18% of the population. Insurance experts doubt the system's viability and sustainability.

The mandatory health insurance (AMO) is finally starting. Since Wednesday, March 1st, the first reimbursement forms can be submitted to the two bodies in charge of the system: the CNSS for private sector employees and the CNOPS for public sector employees.
