The agency is undertaking a series of actions to meet the needs of job seekers, employers, and project leaders.
The National Agency for the Promotion of Employment and Skills (Anapec) of Tanger-Tetouan aims to meet the expectations of a region undergoing major changes at all levels. It is undertaking a series of actions to meet the needs of job seekers, employers, and project leaders.
"To this end, we aim to continue our commitment to continuously improving the quality of our services," says the Anapec regional director, Latifa Rabbaj.
Among the most important projects currently underway by the Anapec regional directorate, continues Ms. Rabbaj, is the certification of the Tanger-Asilah Agency, according to ISO 9001:2008 standards. "This encourages us to strengthen our processes and to perfectly align with the support needs of the major structuring projects underway in the region. Especially since most of our employer clients are multinationals operating according to international quality standards and norms," she adds.
Furthermore, the choice of the Tanger-Asilah Agency as a pilot structure for obtaining this certificate is, according to those in charge of this project, part of the Morocco-European Union institutional twinning project to strengthen the institutional capacities of the Anapec. "This certification aims to assess the satisfaction level of different clients with respect to the services we provide them," emphasizes Tahar El Hanine, head of prospecting and marketing at the Tanger Anapec.
In this context, the agency has conducted satisfaction surveys among job seekers and employers, according to the same official. "This approach allows Anapec to better understand their expectations," specifies Mr. El Hanine.
It should be noted that the preparation of the Tanger-Asilah Agency for ISO 9001:2008 certification is currently in the management review phase, following several audits carried out within this structure.
In addition to this certification project, the regional directorate of the agency is also piloting this year the operation to transfer agricultural workers to Spain, scheduled to launch on February 9. Some 2,224 Moroccan women will benefit from this operation to harvest strawberries in the fields of the province of Huelva in Andalusia.
