ReKrute Unveils 2019 Top Recruiters Ranking: The 25 Most Attractive Employers in Morocco

A leader in digital HR transformation for 14 years, ReKrute publishes the ranking of the 25 most attractive companies in Morocco in 2019. The group thus confirms its strategic role in effectively advising and supporting large groups and executives in their networking.
While the banking and insurance sector confirms its attractiveness to Moroccans looking for new career opportunities, major players in the automotive, aeronautics, and retail sectors have made a remarkable breakthrough in ReKrute's ranking of the most attractive companies in Morocco. BMCE Bank of Africa takes the 1st position, followed by Attijariwafa Bank in 2nd place and Peugeot Citroën Automobiles Maroc in 3rd place.
With this ranking, IT and Big Data are, for the first time in Morocco, used for recruitment and employer branding! This ranking is based on the analysis of several hundred million queries made by 1.5 million executives during their job search on the ReKrute recruitment portal. Thanks to this data and algorithms, companies that attract and retain talent in Morocco can finally be rewarded.
Today, in a world where companies compete to recruit the best talent, employer branding is the solution to attract candidates and retain employees. The latest survey conducted by ReKrute at the end of 2019 confirms this point by revealing that 87% of candidates will not apply to a company if it has a bad reputation. Almost all of them systematically search for information about the company they are applying to before applying.
The ranking published by ReKrute will allow companies to both understand how candidates perceive their brands and improve their e-reputation:
“We support more than one and a half million candidates and more than 3,000 companies daily, which gives us a precise vision of the needs and expectations of the job market. In a national context where the competition for talent intensifies every day, recruiters have understood the importance of better attracting and retaining their employees through their employer brand. Such a tool was therefore more than necessary to reward the best, and to give a reliable indicator to the best profiles in the market,” says Alexandra Montant, Deputy Managing Director of ReKrute.
Through the publication of this ranking, ReKrute once again confirms its position as an innovator in the field of HR services and assistance with recruitment and job searching.

Ranking criteria:
Among the 4 sectors that recorded the best market scores:
1st place: In first place, the banking sector stands out from other sectors, with very high average rates in 4 out of 5 criteria evaluated in the ranking. This sector also has the highest attractiveness score. The criteria taken into account are as follows:
- Clicks on logos
- Number of followers
- Number of likes
- Number of visitors
2nd place: The automotive sector takes 2nd position with high average rates in 3 out of 5 criteria:
- Number of followers
- Number of likes
- Visitor conversion rate
3rd place: The retail sector occupies 3rd place in the ranking with a high average rate of clicks on logos and visits to its ads.
4th place: The energy and aeronautics sectors are in 4th position, with energy having one of the highest average visitor rates on its ads in the market, and aeronautics having a high visitor-to-candidate conversion rate.
- The retail and banking/insurance sectors have, in that order, the highest number of clicks on logos on the ReKrute.com website, with 26% and 23% respectively, and are therefore undeniably considered the two sectors that attract the most profiles.
- In terms of followers or even likes on ads, and therefore the most popular companies, the banking sector is in 2nd position with an average rate of 8.18%, and it is the automotive sector that takes 1st place with a rate of 8.49%.
