What are the salaries for the most common IT jobs?

  • 35% of study and development engineers earn a salary between 10,000 and 15,000 Dhs/month
  • 47% of system technicians earn a salary less than 4,000 Dhs/month
  • 30% of IT managers earn a salary between 4,000 and 6,000 Dhs/month


1. What motivates Moroccan IT professionals?

Indeed, and unexpectedly, a fixed salary is not the primary motivator for IT professionals. It should be noted that salary is only the fifth motivating factor for IT professionals, unlike our survey "Motivating Factors for Moroccans", conducted earlier this year. It comes after professional development opportunities (career plan), which is the top motivator, and work-life balance, the second motivating factor in the IT sector.


2. IT: A male-dominated sector?

82% of Moroccan IT professionals are men. The sector is predominantly male and suffers from this lack of gender diversity.
