Is Morocco prepared for the jobs of the future?
The latest QS World Future Skills Index ranking reveals a concerning reality: Morocco ranks among the lowest countries assessed in terms of preparedness for the jobs of the future. Placed 78th out of 81, the Kingdom scores particularly low in skills adaptation and economic transformation, major obstacles in a rapidly evolving job market.
Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI have been identified as key skills for the future, yet upskilling remains a significant challenge. As Alexandra Montant, Deputy General Manager of ReKrute, points out:
"The country has a strong talent pool, but it is crucial to invest more in talent development and anticipate market needs."
