Disabled… & Unemployed Graduates… Exhibiting Their Products

Their real handicap is the society in which they live and which does not offer them the opportunity to be active and participate in the development of their country. They are disabled but have gifts that we do not have. They are agile and can excel where they are given the opportunity. What they need is support, and that is something we are all capable of. It is our duty to involve them in the development of society and to allow society to benefit from their strengths.

Disabled people from the Hassan II workshop in Marrakech, as well as the disabled women from the ASSABIRATE cooperative in Marrakech, invite you to a meeting on May 16, 17, and 18, 2008, at the CAC (Centre d'Accueil et de Conférences in Hay Riad, Rabat). They will be exhibiting their products and counting on everyone to help them sell them.

The SIFE team, composed of engineering students from the Ecole Hassania des Travaux Publics, is committed to collaborating with the Hassan II workshop in Marrakech to improve the living conditions and income of disabled people in the region, initially, and then those across Morocco in the near future.

They are deprived of mobility but manufacture prosthetics and orthoses for their fellow disabled colleagues. They are also artisans and artists and are constantly seeking markets to make their efforts profitable and become independent.

The SIFE team from the Ecole Hassania des Travaux Publics, the HOPE MAKERS team, does not limit itself to disabled people but goes further... Other people suffer, and the team tries to help them...

These are unemployed graduates who have refused passivity and have invested in forming their cooperative of 100% natural agri-food products. The LAMSAT CHIFAE cooperative, formed of young girls from Meknes, offers a range of products for your well-being, also at the CAC on May 16, 17, and 18, 2008.

Be there, we are waiting for you.
