Recruitment in Morocco modernizes: less favoritism, more e-recruitment

In the field of recruitment, sourcing methods have greatly evolved in recent years. Strategies vary depending on the size of the company, its sector, or the targeted profile.
To better understand company practices in recruiting managers/intermediate professions, ReKrute looked into the different sources of applications recruiters use: What trends? What sourcing methods? What results? These are some of the questions addressed in this study.

The survey shows that job postings are the most used sourcing method by recruiters. Indeed, 75% of recruiters favor this sourcing method, followed by using their network of contacts (61.18%) and reviewing unsolicited applications (53.29%). Online recruitment sites are among the most used media.
Recruiters can also use other channels to obtain applications for manager/intermediate professional profiles. Today, a recruiter uses an average of 3 to 4 recruitment channels to find candidates. SMEs (with fewer than 250 employees) are the ones that use the most recruitment channels, with an average of 3.49 channels.
This survey was conducted with over 180 recruiters in Morocco from companies of different sizes and sectors. The study was in the form of an online questionnaire.
