Jobs Increase 41% in Khouribga by the End of May

Some 696 jobs were created during the first five months of this year in the province of Khouribga, compared to 495 jobs during the same period last year, a significant increase of 41%, according to the regional delegation of trade and industry.

According to the delegation's statistics, March was the only month where a 9% decrease was recorded compared to the same date in 2011, while other months showed a significant increase. April comes first with 80% of offers created, followed by February (72%), January (56%) and May (18%).

This increase is explained by the high number of negative certificates issued (207 by the end of May) for the creation of businesses during fiscal year 2012, mostly for limited liability companies (SARL) with 80%.

Out of a total of 131 jobs created during May 2012, 66 positions concern the public works sector, or 50% of the offers, followed by commerce (29), services (24) and industry (12).
