"Their" or "theirs"? Let's set the record straight

"It's a recurring mistake," explains Bernard Fripiat. "In 'my parents speak to them,' there is often a tendency to think that 'their,' representing several people, should be pluralized. But 'their' is already a plural! The trick? Replace it with 'him'... which is singular."
