Positive Employment Indicators in Kebili

During the first ten months of 2014, no fewer than 410 employment operations were carried out in the governorate of Kebili, compared to 119 during the same period in 2013. This was indicated by the director of employment in Kebili, Boulbaba Karou, explaining that this increase was recorded after recruitments carried out in oil companies located in the region, which had made 160 recruitments.
The National Institute of Statistics (INS) had recruited nearly 150 temporary executives to ensure the census operations, said Mr. Karou. 3,000 new employment contracts were concluded within the framework of active employment promotion programs. The total number of beneficiaries of employment programs is thus around 4,600.
