Interview Questions to Ask

It's your interview day, finally a chance to show what you've got! Don't hesitate to prepare a series of questions. This will demonstrate your overall motivation for the position and the company. Don't be afraid to be relevant and dare to ask your questions!

Here is a list of questions you can ask:

  • What are the main responsibilities that would fall under this role?
  • To whom should I report?
  • Are there any training opportunities?
  • Is it possible to attend courses?
  • What are the career prospects?
  • How many other people will be working on my project / in my department?
  • Why is the position vacant?
  • What is the company culture?
  • What are the organization's future projects?

Some techniques are bold, and others are downright risky. You can encourage your interviewer to talk about themselves, their position, and their career path within the company; this will flatter them. However, there's a limit: it's about building rapport with your recruiter, but not about venturing into their private life.
