Seville's San Telmo Management Institute Expands to Morocco
Since 2009, the San Telmo Institute has organized continuing education seminars twice a year in the Moroccan market.
The San Telmo Institute of Seville for advanced management will open its first business school in Morocco this coming September. The school will offer courses in Spanish and English. This will be its second international location, after Lisbon, Portugal.
Founded in 1982, this institute will offer courses and continuing education seminars and award diplomas. It is also expected to expand into the African and Arab markets from its Moroccan base.
Since 2009, the San Telmo Institute, which has offices in other Spanish regions, has organized continuing education seminars twice a year in the Moroccan market for Spanish executives and businesses in Tangier. These seminars, which regularly fill to capacity with 65 to 75 participants, are financially supported by the Andalusian external promotion agency Extenda. The first seminar of the year is scheduled for March 23, and the second in June. Each time, Moroccan and Spanish historians, politicians, and business people are invited to share their experience with potential Andalusian investors and answer their questions.
For the San Telmo Institute, whose goal is to contribute to the internationalization of Andalusian and Spanish businesses, the decision to open a business school in Tangier is strategic. It aims to sustainably connect Moroccan and Andalusian business leaders, as confirmed by an institute official.
To maximize its chances of success, San Telmo has chosen to entrust the management of its Morocco project to an executive with a strong understanding of both Spanish culture and language and the intricacies of the Moroccan business world.
