Recruiters use an average of 3 to 4 recruitment channels to attract candidates. Posting job ads is the tool that generates the most relevant applications.
Companies use diverse methods to get applications from executives/intermediate professionals. On average, they use 3 to 4 recruitment channels to obtain candidates. SMEs (fewer than 250 employees) are the ones that use the most recruitment channels with an average of 3 channels.
Posting a job ad is the preferred recruitment method for recruiters (75% of responses), followed by using their network of contacts (61.18%) and reviewing unsolicited applications (53.29%).
In contrast, they use alumni networks less, which are still underdeveloped in Morocco (10.53%), and employee referrals (11.84%).
Almost 70% of recruiters surveyed use a recruitment agency to source executives/intermediate professionals. 53.29% of recruiters do so occasionally, while 16.45% do so systematically.
Of course, this use is not insignificant since companies are primarily looking for good profiles (in 49.50% of cases).
The support provided as part of the recruitment service (43.56%) is cited second. Note that nearly a third of companies also do this because they lack the resources to manage their recruitment internally.
Other reasons cited by recruiters are the speed of processing, more precise targeting of candidates, or employer brand promotion.
Furthermore, recruitment and headhunting firms are the most sought-after recruitment providers with 84.16% of responses, followed by online recruitment sites. The sector that uses online recruitment sites the most is agri-food, followed by the automotive sector.
More than 60% of respondents use at least 2 recruitment providers, while the survey shows that lack of budget is the main obstacle in 58% of cases, followed by the belief that only the company can find the profile that matches its needs (55% of cases).
