May 2018: ReKrute complies with the RGPD law

This month, our privacy rules will be updated in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) established by the European Union and applicable from May 25, 2018. As a member of our community, the protection of your personal information is paramount to us. Our updates always prioritize your privacy. We aim to comply with the high privacy standards of this new European law.

1- What does the concept of personal data mean?

"Personal data: any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (hereinafter referred to as the 'data subject')."

Companies generally collect various types of information about individuals. Some of this data may not identify a person, but when combined with other data, it can. For example, when you sign up on a website, you may be asked to provide the name of the company you currently work for. This information alone may not identify you since many people may work in that company. A name may not necessarily be considered personal data as it can be shared by multiple individuals. However, if this name is linked to the employer, it is sufficient to identify an individual.

2- In practice...

By filling out the registration form on ReKrute.com, completing the ReKrute CV, and adding personal information (phone number, age, etc.), you have nothing to fear and can be assured that this information is solely used to help you find the ideal job. It will not be used for any other purposes or shared with a third party.
