Job Market: Morocco Implements a New Program

The Professional Integration Contract (CIP), one of the measures announced to facilitate access to the job market, should, starting mid-October, restore hope to graduates who have difficulty finding jobs and revive job growth for young people in the private sector.

This program, the result of consultations between public authorities and employers (CGEM), targets holders of a university degree in general education (Bachelor's degree and above) from various fields, provided they have been registered with this organization for more than a year. It concerns any private company affiliated with the CNSS and defines the recruitment process, starting with the selection of the candidate by the company and continuing with training/integration for a period of 6 to 9 months under the internship contracts program.

The operation includes a training module on behavioral aspects, if needed, possible technical training provided by an external operator chosen by the company, and practical experience within the company supervised by a designated tutor, explains the Anapec.

The company commits, from the 1st month, to paying a monthly internship allowance, while the State will pay a financial contribution of 25,000 dirhams to the company as training/integration compensation, but only if an indefinite-term contract (CDI) is signed at the end of the internship period (6 to 9 months).
