More than 1,800 recruitments were made in the governorate of Monastir during the first four months of 2013, including 266 jobs for higher education graduates, compared to 1,118 jobs created during the same period in 2012.
According to the statistics of the regional employment office, 2037 job seekers benefited from the employment promotion program, compared to 2,314 during the same period in 2012, a decrease of 11%.
Some 621 higher education graduates benefited from the Employment Encouragement Program (EEP), including 218 in "management and law", 179 in technical sciences and 145 in humanities.
2,479 job offers were presented during the first 4 months of 2013, an increase of 3.8% compared to the same period of the previous year. Job offers for university graduates decreased by 7.4%.
