Get Ready for Your First Day of Work

You dreamed of it and here you are... You passed the CV and interview stages. You are on the eve of your first day of work with your new employer. No false notes are allowed. Here's how to do it
Even if it may seem obvious, we will never repeat it enough: be punctual. Take into account any traffic jams to be sure to arrive on time. Also adopt a friendly and open attitude: smile, reach out to others and introduce yourself by shaking hands. In other words, show that you are confident, without appearing arrogant, and attract the sympathy of your future colleagues.

Listen and take notes

In the first few days, you will have to assimilate a lot of information about your new position. Take notes, even if things seem obvious to you. Once you have to put what you are told into practice, you will be happy to be able to check what you have written down. Do not hesitate to ask questions if a point lacks clarity. In addition, this will help you show your commitment and interest.

Show what you are capable of
Have you already done what you have been told? Do you know a computer program that you are asked to use? Say it! This will save time for you and your coach. It will also give you the opportunity to exchange points of view and experiences, and to show your professional skills. However, be careful not to overdo it so as not to appear as someone who has seen everything and always knows everything.
Don't stress, everything will be fine. The ball is in your court!
