1- Get to the point
This is generally what should be done in a classic CV, but it is even more true for the sales profession. In concrete terms, being direct must translate into a one-page presentation that is clear, precise, and legible.
2- Use numbers
In addition to acquired experience and developed skills, a salesperson must absolutely indicate the results they have obtained at the end of their missions (volume and evolution of turnover, sales percentage, number of contracts signed...). The recruiter will thus be able to evaluate the candidate's exact performance.
3- Stand out
Using numbers also allows the recruiter to compare candidates. More than for any other profession, competition is key! Show your difference and your added value.
4- Be assertive
Similarly, it is a matter of specifying what you really want, particularly in terms of profile. Indeed, field salespeople do not have the same objectives or the same way of working as sedentary salespeople in charge of customer loyalty. The same applies to generalists and specialists. All these details save everyone time!
