MED-IT Trade Show, November 3, 4, and 5, 2009
From November 3rd to 5th, 2009, the 1st International Trade Show on Information Technologies will take place at the Office des Changes in Casablanca. Since 2002, "Med-IT" has been known to Moroccan ICT professionals as BtoB networking days between Moroccan and French operators. This year, Med-IT becomes an International Trade Show with an international dimension.
The exhibition hall of the Office des Changes in Casablanca will host the MED-IT Trade Show, a professional Information Technology Trade Show of Mediterranean scope. The event is organized by XCOM Events, a subsidiary of XCOM France, in official partnership with APEBI, the Moroccan Federation of Information Technologies, Telecommunications, and Offshoring.
The "Med-IT" events have been organized since 2002 at the Casablanca Technopark, in the form of business meetings between French and Moroccan stakeholders. In order to meet the demand from professionals wishing for a larger-scale trade show, significant changes have been initiated in the organization of the event: the creation of a subsidiary in Morocco (XCOM Events), the choice of a new location to accommodate more exhibitors, high-level conference content with the presence of renowned experts, and the opening of the trade show to Mediterranean countries.
3,000 professional visitors and 150 exhibitors expected.
The trade show will welcome 3,000 visitors and 150 exhibitors from countries around the Mediterranean (Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, France, Italy, Spain). The expected visitors are mainly professionals in the sector, IT decision-makers, information systems departments of large companies, SMEs, and administrations. As for the exhibitors, expected at the trade show are Telecom Operators, Equipment Manufacturers, Internet Solution and Service Providers, Manufacturers, Wholesalers, Distributors of IT value-added solutions, Software Publishers, IT Services Companies, IT Solution Integrators, and Suppliers of computer hardware and equipment.
