There is no happy work without healthy and relaxed working relationships. We know that. But how to do it? How to get along with colleagues, how to calmly manage human relationships and create a pleasant contact?
Giving
Most people at work are too busy with their activity and latent stress to stop and take an interest in others for a few minutes. However, knowing how to recognize the qualities and abilities of others, expressing it in a word, a post-it or an email, encouraging verbally or with a smile, is giving. And giving is also (self-) proving that one has resources. It is therefore, by the same token, allowing self-esteem to grow.
Listening
Listening means "paying attention to what someone is saying in order to hear and understand it". It is therefore not only a matter of lending an ear but also of being able to access what is said, explicitly and implicitly. To do this, a little concentration and attention are welcome. If you ask a question, however insignificant it may seem, such as "how are you?", take the time to listen to the answer you are given.
Avoiding Conflicts
Contrary to what one might think, avoiding conflict does not mean remaining silent and swallowing one's disagreements. On the contrary. It is a question of being able to discuss and clarify with the person concerned. Know how to discuss with the colleague in question before reaching the point of no return. Remain courteous, sober, emotionally distant but clear, precise and concise.
Being Satisfied
It is necessary to learn to be satisfied with one's own work, to be happy with one's actions, successes and achievements, to be aware of one's progress and new skills. Being satisfied, grateful is the best way to evolve positively within the company and therefore to maintain enriching professional relationships with the majority.
Managing Stress
To be able to appreciate one's colleagues and to be appreciated, nothing like avoiding stress peaks, which cause one to lose control of events and emotions, which negatively overwhelm and undoubtedly generate the most annoying misunderstandings to unravel. Using a quick relaxation method is a good idea in order to keep your calm and your mind in the face of a problematic situation.
