At the heart of the next edition of the SIAM, organized from May 27th to April 1st in Meknes, and created entirely on the initiative of the SIAM organizers and three Moroccan firms, the trade show will host the first "Employment & Training Village".
Built and designed for exhibitors and people looking for a job or a new career path in the agri-food sector, a team of experts and consultants will provide visitors with advice and opportunities in this growing sector.
Green Morocco Plan, jobs at the source
Supported by the Green Morocco Plan, whose strategy concerns a sector that contributes 19% to the national GDP, agri-food jobs employ more than 4 million rural workers. The program contract covers the period 2009-2013, so we are halfway through the Green Morocco Plan.
Three partner creators and animators of the Village
The creation of the SIAM 2011 "Employment & Training Village" is the result of an initiative by the SIAM organizers and three complementary entities.
First, the AOB Consulting firm, whose core business is training and supporting managers and executives in their career development. AOB Consulting has acquired more than 15 years of experience in training in Finance, Purchasing, Management, and Professional Efficiency.
The Bil Consulting firm, specializing in Human Resources, aims to select talented individuals who could be the future driving forces for the company.
For over 15 years, it has supported its clients in the search, evaluation, and integration of executives and managers and participates in the country's major structuring projects with interventions in areas such as agronomy, agro-industry, and agri-food.
Finally, the communication and event consulting agency Autograph, creator of the SolutcheQ meetings - Management through Quality Fair - will also be on hand to communicate on the fundamental importance of the Quality Manager profession in the agri-food sector, particularly through the ISO 22000 and HACCP standards.
Training, upgrading, jobs...
Partners, with the SIAM organizing committee, and animators of the "Employment & Training Village", the three firms have invited national and international experts to lead workshops and conferences. These experts will discuss the Quality Manager profession, the ISO 22000 standard, professional opportunities in the sector, and the necessary training and upgrading.
In parallel, "speed business meeting" sessions, a unique model of friendly meetings aimed at connecting candidates and companies, will be organized to develop professional networks and contacts.

Meknes, future agropole of the Kingdom
As a reminder, in 2008, the creation of the agro-industrial hub endorsed a major objective for the agri-food sector, namely the enhancement of the agricultural potential of the Meknes region and surrounding areas, in application of Royal directives. The agreement for the creation of the agropole should generate some 11,000 jobs. The Employment & Training Village therefore represents the opportunity to receive, at the right time, advice and information on sector opportunities, personal development, and careers and employment in particular.
