SOS Children's Villages organizes the youth and careers forum under the theme "Together for successful professional integration"
SOS Children's Villages Morocco is organizing the youth forum on February 27 and 28, 2014 at the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Casablanca, under the theme: "Together for successful professional integration". The youth forum will be closed by the careers forum on the afternoon of February 28, 2014 at La Sqala, which is hosting this unprecedented event on a voluntary basis. The Sqala association and SOS Children's Villages share the ambition of promoting the integration of young people.
Official sponsor of the Forum, DHL Express Morocco is thus participating with SOS Children's Villages in giving young people the tools for successful professional integration.
Through this forum, SOS Children's Villages wishes to create a place for sharing and exchange between young people from the Association's different programs, who are in the process of becoming autonomous and integrated into professional life.
On the afternoon of February 28, during the careers forum, the many partners of the Association who have responded present will present their professions to young people and discuss their socio-professional integration with them. Accor, ANAPEC, Axa Assurance Maroc, CFAO Motors, Coca Cola, Dell, DHL Express Maroc, EFE, Fondation BP, McDonald's, Meditel, OFPPT, Société Générale and Rekrute will thus meet the young people during this highlight.
This initiative is an important step in the process of empowering young people supported by SOS Children's Villages. Indeed, the success of the Association's educational mission is measured by the ability of young people who have grown up under its tutelage to find their place in society, and the forum aims to help them achieve this.
Also, following the forum organized in 2012, this edition will once again be an opportunity to give young people a voice and to collect their testimonies, but also to allow them to develop their skills and receive the tools necessary for the success of their future integration.
ABOUT SOS CHILDREN'S VILLAGES
Active since 1985 in Morocco, SOS Children's Villages, a recognized public utility association, helps children in danger: those who have lost all family support or who risk losing it. The Association's mission is to provide them with the stability of a home and the warmth of family life, as well as an appropriate education to prepare them for an adult life that is autonomous and responsible.
Children who no longer have a family are welcomed in one of the 5 SOS Children's Villages in the Kingdom, and grow up there, raised by an SOS mother until they are completely independent. Children who live in very vulnerable families (with a single mother in a situation of great distress) are supported through "Family Strengthening" programs, which aim to make the family independent after a few years.
In 2014, more than 1,500 children benefit daily from the support of SOS Children's Villages in Morocco.
