Accor Services Expands into Morocco

• The global leader partners with the Rahal Group
• Launch of Restaurant Tickets, Mission Tickets, and Compliments Tickets

The Rahal Group, present in strategic sectors such as catering, tourism, and agri-food, has signed a contract with Accor Services, the world leader in service vouchers. The contract was signed three months ago. Under this agreement, the two groups will create a joint venture to develop Accor Services products in Morocco. A Paris-based research office approached the Rahal Group, attracted by its expertise in the catering sector and its client portfolio, which includes nearly 200 large multinational companies, in addition to its acquisition of 33% of Newrest.

Owned 49% by the Moroccan group and 51% by the multinational, Accor Services Morocco, the newly created company, has set itself the mission of launching three products that will be sold to companies for their employees.

These products are designed to provide maximum service and comfort to employees. Companies will therefore be able to offer their employees three types of services. First: the Restaurant Ticket, which, as its name suggests, will allow employees to buy food not only in restaurants, but also from a network of supermarkets. Agreements have already been put in place with some, and others are underway. The ticket will be offered at a price of 10 DH.

Then, the Mission Ticket. It has been designed to make it easier for companies to track the various professional expenses of their mobile employees. Thus, whether it is catering, hotels, or fuel, everything can be controlled. It's a kind of prepaid check. Companies will therefore plan to sign agreements with gas stations, supermarkets, shops, and any organization likely to provide services to employees during their travels. For the price, it is up to the company to set it itself. Finally, the Compliments Ticket. This is a kind of reward or gift voucher, a way for the company to reward and retain its employees.

Through this contract, the Rahal Group aims to "support the country's sustainable development projects," explains the group. By next month, a press conference will be organized to take stock of this partnership and detail the growth prospects of the new company.

"We have found in the Rahal Group the ideal partner to develop in Morocco," says Accor Services CEO Serge Ragozin in a press release. For his part, Karim Rahal, president of the group, does not hide his optimism regarding this partnership. "This is a mark of confidence of which we are very proud and optimistic. This would certainly be a new impetus in improving the working conditions of employees, an objective that we take very seriously in our development strategy," reports the latter.
