On the occasion of the creation of its Excellium Academy, Lesieur Cristal organized an official launch ceremony on October 14, 2008, at the Sheraton Hotel in Casablanca. Several Moroccan and foreign personalities from the business world, the media, and the "HR" profession were invited to this event.
In addition, eminent speakers participated to share their knowledge and experience: Daniel Rouach, Associate Professor at ESCP-EAP, teacher and author of several books on competitive intelligence, technology transfer, and other areas of economic knowledge, provided his analysis and highlighted the academic perspective on the learning company.
This meeting also gave participants the opportunity to benefit from several case studies regarding corporate schools: namely, that of Pierres Simaeys, Director of skills development and training at the FNAC Group, Hugues Bourcier, Training Director at Renault, and Abdelaziz Mouhajir, Human Resources Director of Lesieur Cristal Morocco, on their respective experiences.
As a Moroccan economist, Nadia Salah, Editorial Director of the Eco-medias group, provided insight into corporate schools in Morocco, the training of high-potential HR, and the competitiveness challenges for Moroccan companies in an increasingly globalized world economy.
Excellium, a development lever serving the Group and its employees
As a learning company, Lesieur Cristal is convinced that for its Human Resources, training is an essential lever for socio-economic integration in today's knowledge society.
Similarly, at Lesieur Cristal, excellence is not the prerogative of an elite; it is cultivated and built through learning and continuous improvement.
The implementation of the Academy thus benefits all skill levels. This vocation is perceptible in the definition of the training cycles, which extend over the long term and encompass several specialized modules.
More than a space dedicated to skills acquisition, improvement, and constructive exchange, the Excellium Academy is a career development accelerator insofar as it integrates skills, develops them, and supports each employee in their professional project within Lesieur Cristal, and allows, at the same time, the emergence of new talents.
By creating its own Academy, Lesieur Cristal opts for tailor-made action training, totally adapted to the needs of its employees, its sector of activity, and in perfect coherence with its development strategy.
Excellium, an Academy open to the world of knowledge
To guarantee the success of Excellium and be in perfect harmony with its environment, Lesieur Cristal relied on a wide network of national and international partners. The objective is to create communicating vessels between universities and the world of scientific research and the demands of competitiveness and the reality of the economic world. (See partner list).
Excellium, a link, a space of belonging
Driven by its values of sharing, leadership, commitment, development, and passion, Excellium contributes to strengthening the cohesion and sense of belonging of employees for better adherence to a common client-oriented culture. At the heart of its strategy, Lesieur Cristal makes its Human Resources development policy a differentiating asset for economic competitiveness.
Excellium is a true space of openness, exchange, and sharing of knowledge imbued with a culture of excellence where the men and women of Lesieur Cristal prepare their future with serenity.
