"Real Estate Investment in Morocco: Concrete Growth or Speculative Boom?"

No one can deny the remarkable growth of the real estate sector in Morocco today. Its contribution to the country's development gives it particular importance among private operators, public authorities, and professional associations. The numerous transactions in the sector in recent years give us an opportunity to have a fruitful discussion on the current state of this sector and the reforms deemed necessary to sustain its growth. Aware of all these aspects, the 4th-year students have set themselves the goal of bringing together interested operators to discuss the following questions:

What are the challenges of the real estate sector in Morocco?
How can financing and land reserves be levers for the development of the sector?
To what extent is the sector's growth linked to the creation of new careers?

These are some of the questions that eminent participants are invited to answer during the 23rd edition of Carrefour du Manager, whose theme is "Investment in real estate in Morocco: concrete growth or speculative boom?"

The answers to these questions will be structured around three main axes:

The first will attempt to present the current situation of the sector, the reforms undertaken by the government, and ongoing projects. This is where public authorities will have to explain the various incentives and regulations implemented to encourage its growth.
The second axis will try to explain the problems of the sector, particularly regarding the lack of financing and the absence of regulation of land reserves. It will be up to private actors to express their expectations and to identify potential solutions.
Finally, the third axis will be dedicated to real estate management. A new theme, certainly, but it remains a crucial point in the sector's futuristic vision. Inspired by French and Anglo-Saxon models, the eminent speakers will try to introduce a number of professions that have emerged as the sector has grown.
