The association “Maroc Entrepreneurs” is launching the sixth edition of its business creation support program.
Applications are open! Building on the success of its program, the association “Maroc Entrepreneurs” is launching the 6th edition of “Tremplin Maroc”. This support project aims to help young entrepreneurs formalize their business creation ideas, guide them in building a complete business plan (business model, market study, market positioning, financial forecasts, etc.), and connect them with key players in entrepreneurship in Morocco.
The program includes individualized training sessions given by professionals specialized in business creation. After an initial selection of the most innovative and feasible short- or medium-term projects, the selected candidates will follow an eight-month training program in Paris. This program will include theoretical courses and personalized coaching provided by business creation professionals in small groups, to ensure projects are completed under ideal conditions. In addition, each participant will be supported by a manager from “Maroc Entrepreneurs” who will be available if needed, and will also benefit from a partnership with a dedicated contact person from the Casablanca Regional Investment Center. “This personalized support allows participants to produce a complete business plan for their project,” the organizers emphasize. Support for project completion will culminate in a closing day where candidates will present their projects to a panel of professionals, followed by a closing ceremony to reward the best projects.
Entitled “Business Creation Rendezvous in Morocco,” this closing day also aims to raise awareness among a wider public about business creation by presenting investment opportunities in Morocco; sharing the experiences of Moroccan entrepreneurs; and meeting the various actors in business creation in Morocco.
To participate in this program, candidates can log into the “members” area of the website: http://www.marocentrepreneurs.com and access the section “Tremplin Maroc: Application Submission”.
Once the application form is completed, it must be submitted online no later than the evening of March 31, 2012.
It should be noted that to benefit from this program, participants must meet three conditions: have a precise, innovative, and feasible business creation idea in Morocco; commit to attending all training and coaching sessions, which will take place in Paris (between April and December 2012); and finally, submit a duly completed application form. “This will serve as the basis for selecting the projects that will benefit from the business plan development support program,” the organizers insist.
Winners of the previous edition
Selected from hundreds of applications, five projects convinced the jury and therefore benefited from the “Tremplin Maroc” support program during its 5th edition. These are Aymene Mseffer, creator of a website dedicated to new real estate in Morocco; Karim Basrire, whose project was to offer services dedicated to seniors through a home care, assistance, and nursing service.
Asmaa Hilali proposed creating a business concierge service that provides a range of services that would otherwise require employee travel. In logistics, Loubna Hmich implemented a business project aimed at providing all the necessary information to various partners in a supply chain for relevant and efficient real-time order traceability. Finally, Mohammed Lemedy presented a project on open and/or distance learning.
