During this space for commitment and opening up, 500 social entrepreneurs, institutions and communities are expected. This forum will make it possible to answer certain problems, including: What are the challenges and prospects for the social and solidarity economy in the Mediterranean? How can the social and solidarity economy build the Mediterranean of tomorrow? How can it best meet basic needs: housing, health, food, employment? How to work together to scale up the Social and Solidarity Economy in the Mediterranean?
The program has been built around numerous testimonies from actors, innovative good practices but above all around times of exchange, cultural, festive and convivial activities which will strengthen the interaction between participants. Thus, there will be five plenary conferences, five thematic workshops and four good practice sessions.
Note that MedESS is an initiative of the Macif and Crédit Coopératif groups. The organization was entrusted to iesMed, a cooperative platform for project engineering and ESS revitalization based in Barcelona.
