Tunisia: 1,433 New Jobs in Ariana

1,433 job opportunities were recorded during the first five months of 2012 (January 1, 2012 - June 16, 2012) in the governorate of Ariana.
This is shown by the latest statistics from the regional directorate of vocational training and employment in the region. Of this total, nearly 761 opportunities were created for university graduates.
According to the same data, 48% of job opportunities were created in the service sector and 19% in the industrial sector.
4612 job seekers benefited from the various employment promotion programs, such as the Professional Life Initiation Internships, PLII, -2321 beneficiaries-, integration contracts -607- and voluntary civil services -199-, distributed over 38 associations, these data also reveal.
The statistics provided also show that 276 job seekers benefited from the assistance program for micro-project promoters.
It should be noted that this program aims to develop initiative among young people and assist them during the various stages of project creation, particularly in small trades and services.
