Tunisia: 533 Magistrates to be Recruited Between 2014 and 2015.

The Ministry of Justice plans to recruit 533 magistrates during 2014 and 2015, according to Nadhir Ben Amou, the outgoing Minister of Justice. The information was released by the minister himself on Friday, January 17, 2014, during the official opening of the 'Lawyers' Conferences' for the 2013-2014 judicial year. He specified that these recruitments will be from the second and third classes among experienced lawyers and academics. This decision aims to address the shortage of magistrates in the sector.
