Tunisia: 80,000 jobs announced in the digital sector.

The Tunisian department in charge of technologies and the digital economy has unveiled emergency measures, including the creation of 80,000 jobs by 2018.

18 billion dinars will be mobilized to achieve this objective. This was announced by Noomen Fehri, the Tunisian Minister of Technologies, Information and Digital Economy.
Furthermore, Noomen Fehri announced that tablets will replace traditional notebooks and school bags in pilot schools. The experience will be generalized later throughout the country, he stressed.
The project will accelerate digital inclusion and Tunisia's independence in the digital sector. Above all, these measures will help reduce the unemployment rate, estimated at 15.3% in 2014.
