Tunisia: Job Creation in Manouba

728 jobs, including 119 for managers, have been created since the beginning of 2012 in the governorate of La Manouba.
This is a 3.7% decrease compared to the same period in 2011, which saw the creation of 756 jobs (112 for managers). According to a report on the regional job market, jobs were created mainly in the textile and clothing sectors (293), manufacturing industries (265), and energy (45), and mainly concern Douar Hicher (454) and La Manouba (125).
The report indicates that 1337 people, including 798 university graduates, benefited from employment programs, particularly those implemented by the national employment agency.
The report mentions several programs, including the project initiator support program, introductory internships to professional life, the integration contract for university graduates, and the professional upgrading and integration contract.
Furthermore, 204 projects have been reviewed by employment offices in the governorate of La Manouba since the beginning of the year.
