Cooperation and Partnership Agreement to Promote Foreign Investment

A cooperation agreement has been signed between the Tunis Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA). The objective of this agreement, signed by Mr. Mounir El Moakhar, president of the Tunis Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Ms. Mongia Khémiri, director general of FIPA, is to further promote foreign investment and create jobs.
It also aims to strengthen the competitiveness of national businesses, develop exports, and cooperate in promoting foreign investment.
Both parties agreed to exchange information and expertise to attract investment and encourage joint action in supporting investors to help them overcome the challenges they may face.
They also called for coordinating efforts to make the most of opportunities to strengthen the competitiveness of national businesses. This includes strengthening the positioning of Tunisian products domestically and internationally, boosting exports, and adopting best practices to promote Tunisia as a site for foreign investment.
