Tunisia: 18 projects start production in Tozeur

The Tozeur governorate saw positive industrial investment growth during the first half of 2013. According to the regional office of the Agency for the Promotion of Industry and Innovation (API), 18 projects started production by the end of June 2013, mostly in the food industry. 16 projects received agreements for benefits totaling 1835 million dinars, as regional development incentives. These projects, worth 7,556 MDT, created 150 jobs.
Furthermore, the regional API office registered 47 new industrial projects, representing 15,945 MDT in investments and creating 420 jobs.
In addition, 19 projects in the industry-related services sector were declared, worth 5,543 MDT and creating about 110 jobs.
