Young people from the Soliman building sector training center in thermal and sanitary installations have taken evaluation tests at the Campus Lille Lomme, a training and certification organization specializing in structural building work, under the French Agency for Adult Vocational Training (AFPA). These young people – about ten – obtained mutual recognition certificates of qualifications, meaning that their qualifications allow them to practice the targeted professions according to international standards. Like all graduates from vocational training centers, they will benefit from a follow-up system for their integration into the job market.
The partnership agreement between the Slimane building sector training center and the AFPA was signed in May 2010 in Tunis and is the first mutual recognition agreement. The partnership is primarily based on a process of mutual recognition of diplomas on both sides and on a transfer of experience in the field of building and public works, but also in industry and services.
The ministry has initiated a partnership with AFPA, the leading vocational training organization for active workers in France. This partnership aims to establish mutual recognition between four centers under the AFPA and their counterparts under the Tunisian Agency for Vocational Training (ATFP) in the specialties of thermal and sanitary installer, industrial maintenance technician, commercial refrigeration and air conditioning technician, and network operation technician.
