Tunisia – GIZ: Concrete actions to fight unemployment.

January saw several concrete actions carried out by the German International Cooperation "GIZ" to counter unemployment in Tunisia.
In this regard, 65 new graduates in hydrotherapy and management assistance were integrated into professional life, particularly in hotel units and thalassotherapy centers in Sahel, Hammamet and Djerba. This follows Assistant-Manager and Hydrotherapy training courses, which were set up as part of the project "Thalassotherapy units, a boon for employment".
Similarly, GIZ supported the olive wood sector in the Sidi Bouzid region, aiming to promote and publicize this sector. In this context, 20 candidates were selected for training in this field, starting in February, and will be integrated into professional life.
Regarding the upgrading of travel agencies, 22 participants followed training in Sousse, aimed at strengthening and acquiring knowledge in event organization, and diversifying offers in this area.
