Tunisia: Increase in agricultural investments.

The Agency for the Promotion of Agricultural Investments (APIA) announced on Monday, July 15, 2013, that private investments in the agriculture and fishing sector recorded an increase of 33.7% by June 2013 compared to the previous year.
The newspaper "Al Chourouk" reported in its edition of Tuesday, June 16, 2013, that private investments reached a value of 257.6 million dinars (MD) during the first half of 2013, compared to 192.7 million dinars in June 2012 and 148.5 million dinars in 2011.
APIA specified that the total approved investments will create 2514 permanent jobs, including 168 for higher education graduates.
The number of jobs created during the same period of the previous year reached 2429, including 132 for higher education graduates.
