Tunisia - Manouba: 4071 job applications versus 1042 offers.

The number of unmet job applications registered by employment offices in the Manouba governorate from the beginning of the year to the end of July 2015 reached 4071, including 1780 submitted by university graduates.
According to a report from the regional directorate of vocational training and employment of Manouba, job offers registered during the same period amounted to 1042, including 93 for university graduates, highlighting that 313 people benefited from direct job offers, including 27 university graduates.
Job offers concerned the agriculture and manufacturing sectors (372), construction and public works (28), textiles and clothing (368), services, commerce, leather and footwear (124), energy and mines (43), in addition to 107 offers in various sectors.
Regarding the program of integration contracts for university graduates who have been unemployed for a long time, the report indicates that this program benefited only one person.
According to the same source, 390 rehabilitation and professional integration contracts, 36 under the voluntary civil service program and 51 contracts for initiation into active life were concluded. Furthermore, 186 people benefited from the support program for small business promoters.
In addition, 64 contracts were signed from the beginning of the year to July 2015 under the employment incentive program.
