The Indian group Braj Binani plans to invest in Tunisia. It is involved in the sectors of cement, zinc, fiberglass, composite materials, and ready-mix concrete.
This group will open a fiberglass factory in Tunisia in partnership with Poulina Group Holding. The project will be located in the Bouargoub industrial zone. 5,000 direct and indirect jobs will be created.
Braj Binani is already present in fast-growing market segments such as fiberglass. The group has just bought The Fibreglass Company, 3B, a major European player in the fiberglass technology and products sector. Braj Binani took a 100% stake in 3B via Platinum Equity.
This acquisition is part of Braj Binani's strategy to expand its footprint in the global fiberglass market. It increases the group's technological and marketing resources in the sector.
