Tunisia: Employment Month Starts September 12

The month for employment and regional development starts September 12, 2011 and continues until the 30th of the same month under the slogan "Employment is everyone's responsibility".
It will be opened by Prime Minister Beji Caid Essebsi, at the headquarters of the Tunisian Union of Industry, Commerce and Crafts. This event is part of a communication campaign designed to bring together all stakeholders around employment and regional development and to raise public awareness of the challenges of employment and the prospects of regional development.
Employment and Regional Development Month Program
• September 12, 2011: Opening of the event chaired by the Prime Minister of the Tunisian Republic (plenary sessions: challenges and prospects of employment and regional development with the public/private sector and society).
• September 13, 2011: Day of Finance and Banks (plenary sessions with the public/private sector and society).
• September 14, 2011: Back-to-school day in the Public Service (welcome ceremony organized by the various ministries).
• September 15, 2011: Day of Commerce and Crafts.
• September 16, 2011: Day of Industry and Energy plus presentation of the aeronautical excellence center project.
• September 19, 2011: Day of Defense and Training (signing of an agreement with Cnam (National Center for Arts and Crafts).
• September 20, 2011: Day of ICT.
• September 21, 2011: Back-to-school day at public companies: CPG (Gafsa Phosphate Company), STEG (Tunisian Electricity and Gas Company), GCG (Gabes Chemical Group), etc. (welcome ceremony).
• September 22, 2011: Day of Associations
• September 23, 2011: Day of Agriculture.
• September 26, 2011: Day of Health.
• September 27, 2011: Mini-entrepreneur fair (BTS+Biz.Angels).
• September 28, 2011: Mini-entrepreneur fair (Bfpme) as part of the regional development days.
• September 29, 2011: Tourism Day (launch of a major tourism project), as part of the regional development days.
• September 30, 2011: Day of international partnership (signing of agreements) and press conference to close the event.
