Tunisia: Agricultural Investments Increase by 13.7%

The value of approved agricultural investments (all activities combined) at the end of December 2013 reached 595.4 million dinars (MD), compared to 523.7 MD the previous year.
On the other hand, during the first eleven months of 2013, the committees granting benefits to agricultural investors approved 3,926 investment operations totaling 445.372 million dinars (MD), compared to 355.219 MD during the same period of 2012, an increase of 13.1%. These investments should create 4,263 new jobs.
