Tunisia: a 20 MDT tourist project in Sejnane.

For his first official action, the new governor of Bizerte, Mr. Ridha Lahouel, chaired on Monday, August 26, 2013, a signing ceremony for a partnership agreement between regional developers for the creation of a tourist village in the Kef Abbed region (Sejnane delegation).

The first of its kind in the region, this project would cover an area of fifty hectares and could generate between 350 and 600 jobs for declared investments of 20 MDT (million dinars). Messrs. Ali Shiri and Med Oualid Chargui, the two developers, declare that they want "to complete this project in less than a year." They are all the more determined because incentives and encouragement are the best motivation, they stressed.
This project is part of the promotion of ecological tourism, respectful of nature and the environment.
The village of Kef Abbed, if it were to be realized, would be added to seven other projects to which the regional council has granted its approval and to another, even more grandiose one that the Makni Group proposes to create in Cap Serrat and which promises thousands of jobs for investments of ... 1000 MD.
