Tunisia: Yazaki and Leoni offer thousands of jobs

Youssef El Almi and Abdelhaq Mansouri, directors of Yazaki, recently established at the El Azib industrial site (El Alia), and Leoni Mateur Nord respectively, were received by the governor of Bizerte to discuss ways of strengthening relations between the regional authorities and these two industrial units.
The two directors announced that, once their financing plans and investment programs are finalized, their factories will be able to recruit thousands of employees.
For Yazaki, which has just recruited 1100 people out of a projected total of 2500, management has launched a new offer to recruit 500 unskilled female workers.
Leoni Mateur-Nord, for its part, plans to recruit no fewer than 3000 employees by 2019. It is also working to recruit 500 people in the coming period. The delegates of El Alia and Mateur were reportedly urged to help the two companies with this recruitment operation.
